In our quest to optimise our services, we have deployed the “Motor NCD” module. This enhancement to the e-Cover Gateway provides enhanced customer services to both the insurance companies and their valued agents.

Insurers are able to electronically confirm NCD through the e-Cover Gateway while agents have timely and easy access to NCD confirmation details through the e-Cover application system.

Agents and the insured no longer need to go through the previously lengthy and complex process of confirming NCD entitlements.

Frequency of NCD Request Sent for Confirmation

The e-Cover NCD process is able to minimise fraudulent transactions as each NCD query is triple confirmed at different intervals. The process not only ensures the authenticity of the entitlement, but also provides accurate up-to-date status of the NCD requested.

1. Insurance Company A's agent send NCD request to the     Insurance Company via e-Cover NCD module.

4. Insurance Company A's agent can check the NCD     confirmation via e-Cover.

1.   Insurance Company A sends NCD request to Insurance       Company B via the e-Cover.
2.   e-Cover forwards the request to Insurance Company B.
3.   Insurance Company B checks the NCD via the NCD        validation process and send the NCD confirmation to e-Cover.

The Porta de Santiago is one of the four main gates of the A Famosa fortress. It was built by the Portuguese in 1512 under the command of Alfonso de Albuquerque, the leader of the Portuguese army that seized Malacca in 1511. For almost 150 years, this magnificent fort had successfully protected the Portuguese position in Melaka, until it was overrun by the Dutch. It was damaged during the attack, but the Dutch later repaired and renamed it VOC with an embossed emblem. But unfortunately what is left until today is nothing more than a gateway called Porta de Santiago.
