The Asia Pacific ICT Awards is an international Awards Program initiated by the
Multimedia Developement Corporation to provide a platform for innovators and
entreprenuers in the ICT sectors in the region to benchmark their products and to
network. It is also aimed at stimulating economic & trade relations and technology
transfer, providing companies with business matching opportunities and exposure to
venture capitalists and investors, and increasing community awareness in ICT.
The countries / economies participating in this Awards Program are members of the
APICTA Network, and they are guided by a Framework of Cooperation that details how
member economies work together in support of this Awards Program, and other programs
and activities for the development and growth of the ICT industry in the region.
